I am a warm and caring psychotherapist and counsellor practicing in the White Rock/South Surrey area. My own journey has provided me with a wide variety of life and professional experiences that contribute to my ability to work with a multitude of issues in a comfortable and non-judgmental manner. I believe it is important for clients to experience an environment of safety and trust in order to successfully work through troublesome issues and blocks on the winding, twisting, unique, and often difficult, path that we walk upon during the course of our lives.
I passionately believe in the healing power of the collaborative, therapeutic relationship that will develop in the course of the therapy or counselling process. This collaboration between therapist and client will lay the foundation for the deeper work that lies ahead. I know that different clients have different goals, needs and processes and I am respectful and aware of these individual differences. Together we will develop a unique plan that will shape this journey of self-discovery, recovery, healing and growth.
I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from UBC and a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from The Adler School of Professional Psychology. I am committed to my own ongoing development in the field of therapy and counselling and continue to expand my knowledge and experience base. It is my commitment to my clients that I will conduct my practice in the most ethical and committed manner possible.
I see clients in my warm and comfortable home office in central White Rock.
